Aaaaaaand, the failure to be even remotely funny continues.
Do you have some kind of brain injury or something?0 -

I'm happy that my last set of innertubes came with green dustcaps, because they match my bike.0

I have them too... cant remember what they are called... can get them on CRC though... the green is a kind of nuclear mint.
EDIT: these
decent price too, and I haven't punctured them in 6 months...I like bikes and stuff0 -
Yes, they're the airwaves ones off CRC.
VERY resistant to the old p*ncture fairy.
Not light though, over 300g each. :shock:0 -

there's a old saying that goes something along the lines of:
"great minds buy the same inner tubes"I like bikes and stuff0 -
300g! My Schwalbe ones weigh 180g. That's probably the easiest place to save weight there is.0
-
Wrong green, dammit.
I'm not sure, but I think 300g would be a bit lighter than what I currently have, some maxis freeride ones, or something. They weigh more than a small continent.0 -

yeah, I have that one on the back... good tube... never dies.

Mine weigh nothing actually because I'm now a tubeless convert.
In 1 go I dropped 500g per wheel (new wheels - 200g lighter, new tyres - 400g lighter, sealant in place of tubes - 400g lighter).
Besides, there is more to it than just saving weight. By running the thicker tubes, a heffalump like me can crash about over the very rocky stuff we have here without constantly pinch-flatting like I did with previous conti, schwalbe and spesh tubes.0 -

I've got tyres that are 330g!0 -
I've got several tyres, each weighing over 300g's too!Advocate of disc brakes.0

STORY TIME Dust Cap Followers
Are we all sitting comfy? FS are you in your high chair?
While doing the shopping in a well known brand of supermarket ( others are available) I spotted that the car next to mine was short of a dust cap on one of its wheels. Being in a generous type of mood I took a dust cap from my car and fitted it on the other car.
So far so Good I hear you say, well.....
Upon returning home the missus spotted the missing dust cap from my car and quizzed me as to where it had gone. She was too bloody observant and realised that the dust cap had only recently been removed as the end of the valve was nice and shiney. I was taken aback at the lack of foresight at the anguish my moment of philantrophy in the car park would cause when our car was seen to be without a dust cap. To rectify the problem I decided on a course of action I may have cause to regret.
I looked on the Halfords website for Dust Caps
Fk me readers if not a plethora of the blingy things appeared with 35 results showing. Top Banana na na na ( I like that ) And even better one of the makers of Durt caps has nearly the same name as me ( less an S ) so I can get super Blingy Titanium dust caps made with nearly my name on for £9.99.
Result eh! and all for being kindI'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

That's not normal. Surely if it was normal then our sisters would have noticed when we cracked one off into their underwear drawer.
There, sheeps. Better?0 -
