Personally, I reckon you are so used to riding there on the HTs, you were trying to ride the Meta like a HT round there without realizing it. Which obviously, you can't do.
I had a similar thing with mine the other night on a local trail I'd ridden loads last year on the HTs. It just felt...odd. Figured I must have just been on autopilot, so I went back and did it again, and it absolutely flew.0
