Blimey, I ordered some Free Aeros too at the w/e (couldn't get that 5% code working but the Ribble price is pretty keen anyway). They must be selling like hotcakes!

So what's the difference between the Aeros and the Body Paint then? Just the mesh on the back? I've read the pads are the same.

Well I'm not suprised if they are, I've had mine a week now and they have been a relavation. I had been saving up for some Assos shorts but saw this thread and thought I'd have a try. I was worried I'd made yet another compromise and not bought what I had intended but tbh I can't see me changing from the Free Aeros any time soon.

You can guess the rest.

I Also just stumbled across this thread after sending some Assos back to ribble as they didn't fit.
I ordered a small in the F1's and they fitted everywhere except around my thigh, they were a bit baggy there.

Are the Castelli's tighter? By the name I'm guessing/hoping so!

The Assos were small, I'm 5'7 and 57kg

same pad, both have a mesh back

the body paint ones have the one-piece construction of the actual shorts, with seamless/hemless edges on the legs and shoulder straps

the aero ones are more traditional multipanel construction, hems on legs/straps, many more seams etc.
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
