90km done, no escapees.

Peloton doesn't want to let anyone go.

Nuyens picked Canc for the win for those keeping up to speed with pro-rider predictions.

But wasn't there a load of wine bottles on the scales as well??

Maybe he has moved the battey from his bike to his legs

Pretty sure the scales were zeroed.

I think 40 odd glass bottles add more than a few kilos....

    2nd wheel change for Canc.

Team radios not occuring in this race so super-slick bike changes a little trickier today.

Cancellera punctures, gets a wheel from a team mate. Should get back on no problem. Still 70 Km to go

No organisation in the peloton, break of 8 men ahead - only 67km to go - could become dangerous for the peloton.

4th problem of the day for Canc apparently. Gears

Every time the peloton hits a hill, Staf Scherlinx gives it a go because the peloton is clearly going very very slowly.

You'd think that the break would be slamming it, but who's telling them the peloton is smeared from gutter to gutter?

Canc changes bike, throwing his broken one at some woman, who doesn't seem to pleased...

"Rambo" Eeckhout and a few others are trying to bridge across. He'll punch them into shape.

Haussler group getting clear by the looks of it - disorganised behind....

Devolder and Canc looking good but the impulse has gone out of the chasing group - Hushovd's presence is putting people off it'd seem.

Why the hell was Hushovd just caning it on the front when he has two team mates up the road??

where you watching it? it does seem odd for husovd to be chasing, especially when he has canc and devolder with him would are very dangerous

    Demonstration of strength...

Vannieuwkerk absolutely loving canc - up and over the chasing group he caught up with.

    Phenomenal strength and spped.
