Sussex Nomads OPEN Clubrun Ride to Birling Gap 24th April

Everybody is welcome to join the Sussex Nomads for an OPEN club ride from Ditchling to Birling Gap and Back.

This is a free ride with a tea stop in the middle of the ride at Birling Gap.
You just need to bring some money for the tea stop at Birling Gap.

There will be two routes see below.

The Nomads are a friendly bunch... come along any Sunday at 9pm at Ditchling Village Hall and you'll be welcome to join in with a ride or two or three... if you likey - joiney!

Just to let you all know
ON THE RIVET network are running a tea stop training ride to Birling Gap on Saturday 9th April from Ditchling at 9am.
This is being used as a test for the route for the Nomads Open Club run ride on the 24th of April.
Everybody is welcome to join the ride which will be run a bit slower than normal average speed 15mph

We rode the shorter route of the Nomads Open Clubrun ride last Saturday in preparation for the Nomads Ride on the 24th and it's a cracking route lovely countryside and mostly quiet roads.
Exceat hill was tough but then you have a short ride to the tea stop after that.

We went steady and still managed 15.8 mph going out and 15.7mph coming back.

On the way back the hills are shorter but there seems to be more of the little ones to sap what energy you may have.

Great work out for the faster guys doing the slightly longer route. :!:
