Not sure what to put. Organization from Ruth et al was excellent (as usual). NapD - was going to come & say hello but you had more important things to sort (it looked nasty) & I had to get off quickly so sorry I missed you.

The less said about my time the better :? However, I'll note that my average speed was no worse than last year & I've recovered afterwards a lot lot faster - even went for a (very) short ride with my son later in the afternoon.

I'm also quite pleased that my second time climb of Stanford was only a handful of seconds slower than the first - though the photos (like above) show a slightly different story.

I know I'll be back for more next year - to anybody not sure about entering - just do it. If I can finish then anybody can.

Back to normality today with a club 10.
