    I've never raced but have shaved my legs when I was a younger, regular club cyclist.
    Mainly due to getting a massage after training.
    In recent times me and a mate has done it before going on cycling holidays. It kind of made us feel the part.
    I prefer that look to hairy legs in Lycra.
    Each to their own!

    Is it worth the effort? Not IMO. Too much of a paff & don't fancy the gay comments which would enevitably follow even if it is mearly banter between mates
