Dutch run hotel by Alpe D'huez

Hi,

I have a friend coming over to ride France and I want to give her the name of the hotel I stayed in just out of Bourg D'Oisans with Alpe D'Huez a few Km away but I can't remember it!

Does anyone know it? Everyone staying there is Dutch as are the owners and they do a post ride pasta buffet at about 4pm plus great dinners to carbo load for the next day.

The only bad thing about it is the upwards climb back to the hotel which my legs could've done without after doing D'huez, Glandon and the Telegraphe!

Was it the Hotel Panoramique in Mizoen? A short but very steep climb from the reservoir near Bourg D'Oisans or from Alpe D'Huez via the Col de Sarenne to the other side of the village. I spent a week there in 2003 and it was ran by a Dutch couple. They have since moved on as it is now run by a French couple.

Was it this place - we went back in '04 I think!
