Heel pain

Hi I recently changed my position on the bike due to knee pain. I lifted my saddle a couple of mm and moved it back to try line my knee with the pedal spindal at three o'clock, I also reset my cleats so the ball of my foot is over the spindal also, feels as though it is but I'm now getting pains in my lower heel (Plantar fasciitis) im also using my calfs more.

What changes should I be making to rectify it?

Plenty of theories out there but try and error is the only way to go.

    none on here.

Try moving your cleats back as far as they will go. Then lower the saddle and move it forward. This will take the pressure out of the calf (which will pull on the heel), and will give you more power by engaging more from the larger muscles of the upper leg and glutes.

    Worked for me.
