ideally you should have the same rpm or cadence on the flat as you do climbing. ideally you should aim for between 90 and 100 depending on your fitness/ experience. i have to admit that if i can achieve 80 cadence on a long climb im reasonably pleased but as you get stronger you will achieve the 90! happy pedalling
  • I think keeping your revs up when climbing can be a big help. When you're trying hard this is difficult to monitor. To this end I'm looking for a computer with cadence AND big digits, as I'm bog eyed. Does such a piece of equipment exist? What makes / models would fit the bill?
