LT test on a turbo trainer

Hi,

I have an (admittedlly very old) Tacx Fortius I-Magic VR trainer which gives power and HR readings.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me if there is a LT test I can do using my trainer as I am keen to get some sort of benchmark information to use to analyse my training.

Has anyone done anything like this and, if so, could you give me the details of the test?

I realise that the power reading may not be accurate but if I repeat the test on the same trainer i will get consistent of not accurate readings.

Thanks in advance.

Gavin

I guess its FTP that you want in which case all you need to do is ride as hard as you can for an hour. Your average Wattage for the hour is your FTP . Or ride as hard as you can for 20 minutes and take ~92-96% of the average Wattage as your FTP .
    More problems but still living....
