My girlfriend is an artist specialising in photo-realism working mainly in pencil. She's far more talented than I am or ever will be at anything  And she's just finished a sketch of my riding. So what dya think?
Mostly finished, the bike is just outline. It's now the background to my blog.
If you're interested, check her work out on theartofemily.co.uk

That's awesome. fair dos to her0

Glad you guys approve. Thought it might add something a little less familiar in the general forum.
Yeah she does commissions. She has just finished her current portrait so is freed up for the next. Her webby is also a work in progress at the moment so some things are developing.

fair play that is brilliant 8)
does she do it to order? as in would she do one of my son? obviously for a pack of haribo, not for free like0 -
What?? When did you ever send Haribo with an order? I tell you what, any commissions for forumites and I'll be sure to put in a pack of haribo just cos I know us bikers expectations are very highEmily wrote:The detail on that is crap0

She earn's half a living out of it
She would go full time artist but it's isolating work. If she was to take up more commissions she'd loose out in working with other people so... she does a few a month. Possibly wasted imo, not that I'm bias but I am gobsmacked at what she can produce in her spare time.0 -

very talented0

Wow.....That's some serious amount of skill.
It would be nice to see the bike completed in full0 -
I hoped she'd do the rig in all it's glory but... the thought of doing the tyre tread put her off. Very sad face0

Very talented. Could she draw me riding like I know what I'm doing?
That's what I call art...not someone stapling a bag full of dog turd to a stale loaf of bread placed in a urinal made from dried out whale foreskin.0 -

She could draw you riding a Mammoth? That's pretty hardcore? But you know, she doesn't work on canvas... only works on whale foreskin...0 -
Mammoth it is then!
Although, I'm only short, so a medium-sized dog would probably suffice. She's certainly got some talent, mate.0 -
Very nice, she's got some skills 8)0

Awesome. She'll appreciate the comment as they web has been recently redesigned from the ground up. She's not had much feedback on the wbby itself.0 -
