    Hi

    Thanks for the feedback

The kit design was mainly designed by our web guru Tim Bonnett with input from the club committee, Bio-Racer who manufactures the kit did the art-work

    Glad you like it

I truely believe its the best kit locally by far

    Thanks again for looking

I've had a look at the site in IE8 and it's working perfectly for me. buy_my_cookies, could you try it again using the same PC and browser? It looks like your stylesheets may not have loaded properly.

Great site btw Aaron and I really like the kit! :)
  • I tried again and got the same thing.

If its just a problem with my comp then dont worry ya self about it, was just letting you know incase a lot of other people might get the same thing.
  • Hi Everyone
Feel like I'm a bit late to the party here but just wanted to say hi to all and reply to a few bits.

But firstly important news is that membership is now live on the Iceni Velo website. We have tried to put loads of info on the site but we are always adding to it so check back for updates.

If you still haven't made your mind up about joining the club then feel free to register for our FREE two week trial membership.

    For all details visit http://www.icenivelo.co.uk

    Cheers
    Tim Bonnett (Iceni Velo)

    Hi Aaron

Give me a shout if Tim needs any help. I'm more than happy to lend a hand.

Is there anywhere we can see the kit?

    Hi Jonny
Many thanks for your offer of assistance on this and your help in trying to sort the browser issue. Though you may regret that offer!!

Are you the Jonny thats registered on the club forum?

    Thanks again Tim

    Hi buy_my_cookies
Though I'm only just responding I have tried to replicate the issue that you have had but I can't see why it would be showing like that, it looks awful!!

If you have access to any other browser that might be worth a try?

Other than that not sure what else I can suggest, sorry I can't offer any more ideas.

    Regards
    Tim

    Alright Ben
Can't take all the credit, I did the Iceni Velo logo but the great guys at Bio Racer took care of all the initial kit designs. You boys still trying to get it changed then!! good luck ;-)

See you at some races soon hopefully.

    Hi

Just an update to anyone who has been following the progress of Iceni Velo, Norfolk's newest cycling club

We had our first official Sunday Club run with an outstanding turnout of 40 riders turning up at 7.30am

I dought there was a larger club run anywhere else in the country that day

The weather helped a bit but the turnout was almost over whelming

A 50 mile run out took place with very little in cidents apart from a couple of punctures that was quickly rectified

On the run back in a faster group split off to stretch their legs giving everyone exactly what they needed

Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to many more rides out soon

    Regards

    Aaron

You ran 40 riders in one group?!!!
We had around that figure and split into 3 groups straight away although we aren't as keen as you guys and started at 0930

What about younger children? If you don't have a Go-Ride club in area, that's something it might be worth your club getting involved with once it's found its feet. It's never too soon to start cycling as a sport - at the club I coach at, we have kids from 5 or 6-16, and even the very young ones take part in time trials (2 miles) and races.

    Hi Agent 57

Thanks for you advise, well worth listening to other clubs who have been there

Sounds like you guys have a great youth policy and one that hopefully we can replicate one day

This is something we are vey keen to explore once we have a bit of time under our belt, not wanting to run before we can walk

On May 22nd we are putting on a local crit where there will be Youth Cat A,B,C,D & E racing, this is part of a local youth racing league and hopefully we will also holding a coaching session for those not racing

Marcos, good to hear from you again

Yes we all set of together and rode to the Mundesley on the coast for a coffee and cake, once on the way back two groups formed so the quicker boys and girls could stretch their legs a bit

I stayed with the more sedate group and completed 63 miles door to door but was still back by 11.30am, must say the majority of the group are in agreeance of a 7.30 start as 9.30 is to late for the majority of people with children to get back to
