Morning all of you bounders and cads

4 start this morning and slept awfully last night, means we have one grumpy Gazlar this morning, add to the fact I had to buy a new chainset last night too because of my rushing to do a job, means very grumpy Gazlar.

On the plus sides, done for 12 so gym today too, I've shifted half a stone in a fortnight, another half stone and I'll be happy, another stone and I'll be very happy

Then back home to ebay some tat, I mean high quality items, mainly the pile of grips I've tried with and changed my mind

Laterzzzz

Gazlar If you loose a stone and a half, you wont have enough weight to depress your forks!
Morning Chaparoonies, No Coffee in the office this morning only Tea, I havent had a cup of tea in decades and i'm not about to start now!
Was sorting some money out last night, so hopefully i can place the order on the two bikes

Going to hopefully go to Redbridge Cycling centre on sunday, i did a race there in the summer and its the only place i can think of locally thats not going to be under 3ft of mud!

Last nights date with the wife was a nice refreshing change, although still cant work out why people pay good money to go to Prezzo's? Then she ruins it all (*the Flow) by saying she wants to watch Pikeys getting married or something on the moving picture box.

Gaz, i think my ideal weight for my size is something like 12.5stone but i would need to cut off at least 1 and a half legs to gett to that i think! so for you to get down that low is scary!

Safe geezy! Many thanks man, anythings a plus!

I need to get down to 78 kilos to get to my ideal weight, according to doctors. I don't look fat, I don't look skinny, I just look normal with a shirt on. Wouldn't mind 78 kilos though, even though its 10 under me!

First cup of tea finished :) Good night of study last night means there may be a gap in this weeks work / study mix to fit in a quick ride or a run :)

Saturday lunch time - empty, 2 for £10, fit lithuanian staff who end up amusing the kids.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Morning all!

I'm in a good mood today, at the ripe old age of 27, I passed my driving test yesterday! (First time, 5 minors) :D So, Wales is now within distance etc, the biking world has just opened up for me, and looking forward to getting out in my new car on my own!

Sadly though, not ridden since before xmas, due to Medical issues, so thats annoying me somewhat.. off the bike for at least another week, but shall start trying to get out on gentle rides soon :(

Today, I have minions doing work, as I celebrated a bit hard last night, so have brainache. Lots of caffeine is required to get me through the day. Sadly though, so poor, that bacon is a distant dream... :(

Stav: congratulations! The world is your lobster

Congratulations on becoming a motorist. Soon you'll be annoyed by roadies who ride 6 abreast on a B road at stupid o'clock in the morning, but being a cyclist, you'll give them plenty of room and navigate your way around them without shouting profanities or making rude hand gestures :¬)
  • Gazlar - Nicely done! Keep it up :D

MountainMonster - Similar plan for me, 10kgs to loose.

    Kitty - Good luck!

    Stav - Congratulations!

I'm at work, eating 'Urban Fruit' dried Mango. Mmmmmm Seems quiet here, maybe a little too quiet. I shall seize this opportunity to sell stuff on thebay me thinks.

Cheers all, I'm chuffed to bits :)

Already muttered "pfft, bloody cyclists" to myself once or twice on my lessons

Gazlar - Good work buddy, my bro used to be 17st, and is now down to 12.something, pretty much all thanks to cycling, so it's do-able!

    Kitty - Good luck!

    Wow, it's all happening today!!

I got 'stuck' behind one on the way to Birches Valley once. I swear the guy averaged 40 mph! No point overtaking!

Waylander: What about MTBers on their way to trails?

Stav: Well done, you'll probably find the most annoying things on the road are other drivers. On the phone, not indicating, driving at night/in fog with no lights on, doing make up, drinking a mug of tea on the motorway (as I saw this morning!), driving at 50mph past a school in a 20 zone, driving a 20mph on an NSL road.....ah, the joys!

no chance of that with this lot, there was about 8-10 of them, spaced out taling up the whole lane doing about 15mph

now i ride a road bike myself at times, ahem, did i just say that out loud, ahem, so i have nothing against them really, but it is a PITA when you get stuck there with no where to go :D

    Good Afternoon Freaks!

Been to the doctors this morning for my flu-jab and for some drugs to reduce my high blood pressure. Reading the "nasty side-effects" leaflet, I'm not sure if I want to take them...

Busy, busy afternoon in the office, then home to repair the Focus's tyre/tube. Had a quick look last night and there's still at least another 3 tacks in there. New tyres aren't going to arrive before the weekend, so I've got to patch this one up (super-glue in the holes) to get me through the next couple of days.

your new job must involve a lot more work, i've noticed you only get on here lunch time at the moment, or are you just trying to create a good impression
