The club that I've just joined entitles us to a 30% discount off CNP products. Has anyone used the new cycling specific range now offered by CNP.

Cheers, Tony.

I tried a bunch of CNP products in the past when I used to go the gym and the only thing I actually enjoyed was the Pro Recover. It is without a doubt the tastiest recovery drink out of the lot, was quite happy when they made the British Cycling variety but they never did get back to me when I mailed to ask if it was the same stuff I'd been buying for years. If it is however, it's a damn sight cheaper to get it from muscular supplements or fuelsports as it's about £4 a pop less than from Wiggle etc..

As for flapjacks/bars, if you like eating bricks of sand, go for it. I'll stick with Zipvit in future, although their recovery drinks are foul. So best to mix and match :)

I'd hoped you'd pop up mate. How do you use the pro peptide? That's not an invitation for sarcasm.

I use it just like a protein shake.

However, I don't use their serving sizes. I have 2 scoops as a 'meal' portion and 1.5 after a training ride.

A lot of places do Pro Peptide with fee Pro Recover at a very good price. I use the pro recover instead of the pro peptide after very hard/long rides (over 2000cals)
  • I use the flapjacks on and off. I noticed the track cyclists using CNP so they can't be that bad. 30% discount is good IMO and about right for a sports club. You can make your own flapjacks but most people can't be bothered these days.
