Trouble with computer on turbo

Hoping knowledge from the fountain of the bikeradar well might be able to advise! having changed my mavic rear qr skewer to the elite crono fluid elastogel one that's supplied with the turbo. My computer doesn't seem to work when I run the bike on the tubo despite working when wheeling bike to the turbo, any advice welcome! Before anyone asks my computer is not on the front wheel :wink: as it's a cadence reading one.

    check the magnet/sensor positions

    the loading on the bike is different when it's on the turbo, so if the positioning is marginal perhaps this difference is enough to move the magnet out of range
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
