I spent three years without a TV when I bought my first house, the choice was TV or cooker and fridge, so the cooker and fridge won, then the choice was TV or decent stereo, stereo won, then TV or PC, again the PC won. People do think you are strange if you don't have a TV, and the TV Licensing cannot believe that people don't have a television.

The High Life was excellent, Come Fly With Me, not so.

I avoided the start of the series, but caught one of them unfortunately. Little Britain it isn't. What a load of rubbish I must say. But they have fallen into the trap of having a successful series ie LB and think they can repeat it with this. The characters are just not funny.

I don't know if Lucas and Walliams think they're the Two Ronnies but oh my god they have a LONG way to go to even get near their success, or their talent come to that.

Living near Bradford I find the Taaj character pretty funny!

  • I find Ann Widdecombe sexually attractive.

It's on the internet, it must be true.

    No. Just no.

I'm studying through the OU and about to start a module on European history, 1400-1900. That is the main focus of my interest, have always been curious about the many different components and complexities that have gone to make up the continent to what it is now and thought I'd do a course to learn with a bit of structure rather than just pick up books and read without really thinking about what they are saying, having to write essays hopefully means I actually digest it.

I appreciate the cultural significance of TV but so little of it interests me, some of my friends take the p1ss about how little I know about pop culture but I don't live in a complete bubble, I still play computer games but use my pc for that. I haven't totally ruled out the gogglebox though, covered myself by saying I'd start without one and see how it goes, may give in and buy one after a fortnight.

the history bit is easy. we went abroad kicked some ass, got our ases kicked and then came home and invented lots of things.

now you can buy a telly :)

My daughters like it, but I think it is very lame.

A rip off of Airline and about 10years late. If a new group of comedians did it they would be slated, intead it is a bit like the emperor's new clothes.

    Very lazy.
