Recovering from Flu

Hi! I have spent the last week in bed with the flu - high temps, aches (basically the works!) It has left me a little weak and wondering how I should gradually ease my way back to training....?
I don't want to overdo things and become ill again. Suggestions would be great.
Before being ill I was doing an hour on the turbo Tues using l2, Wed(intervals) Thurs using l2. Saturday 2hrs on the road and on Sunday 3+hrs.
I am training to do the Raid Pyranean with a friend in June - so have plenty of time to catch up any missed training.
Thanks in advance!

Have a look here at what the grand master, top coach and former Le Tour rider has to say about post illness training :

Helen.
He is top, I visited him for a bike fit last March. I'd recommend having that done to anyone.
Napoleon D on the forum is coached by Adrian, the results he has seen following his guidance are fantastic. It's possibly worth looking at a short term training plan to help you out?
Or this could be the best £10 you will ever spend

Thanks for that - though I don't work with a power meter, just a simple HRM. Have been following Pete Read's Black Manual - used to follow that when I was tt'ing. Though I did wonder if it would be OK for training to do a long distance event...?
I'll check out the link - ta!
