Hi John, must admit I was dying to get out this morning. Breezy but sun was out. Wheeled the bike out of the garage then did a Bambi on ice before noticing the sheen of ice covering the whole road. Turned round and put it back in the garage.

Yet another turbo session coming up :(

This spring it is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to get out at all, never mind when we can discard layers of winter kit.

And yes it was another session on the rollers after I'd straightened out the rear mech,. The bike ran remarkably well considering how bent the mech was.

We have had another dollop of snow here again! Just like 2010 its going to be rush to get fit for summer because of the weather.

I have had the flu and basically been in my bed all week so least its a good time to get it.

We've all had bad colds too Brian, Darling daughter came home for Christmas and infected us all. Love her  . She then went down to a friends in London and infected them as well. The country will grind to a halt and it's all thanks to her

Not planned any rides yet for 1011, it would be nice just to go out and stay upright.

On the first day I got up at 10am after a combined Hogmanay and 40th Brithday party. Had a hooge fry up at 8;30pm and watched the Godfather.
On the second day I put new 60mm carbon clinchers on my Litespeed and took off for 1 hour of intervals to see how the wheels felt. Cleaned bike, hung up for spring.Felt good.
On the third day, I went out with lads from bike club and did 40 rolling miles with good banter.
On the fifth day I did 30 miles easy.

    So far so good......... :D

On the 16th day of '11 I awoke to fairly calm conditions primed to try my new deep section wheels out. By the time I was ready it was blowing a hoolie. Couldn't be bothered to change out the wheelset. 22 miles on the MTB. :(
