the crash photo is from the tour de suisse
Not the one I posted though. That was from earlier in the season. T-A, I think.
looking back you posted 2. I was referring to the 1st one. Not a clue about the second0 -
Yes it is TA. Stage 7. There is some footage of the crash but not sure where I saw it. Here in the first minute you can see him on the ground. As far as I remember it was a stupid crash (lack of riding in the peloton) and only he was involved.

As for photos, this sport creates some magnificent photography due to the places they ride, the expressions on the riders faces, the colours of the kit/bike and many more aspects.
From THE Giro stage. Check out the guy on flickr as he has a fair few more shots of the stage including one INCREDIBLE shot

Is Carlos trying to tell us the number of races where he's had a win since his 2008 Tour?
Or is it something to do with one-fingered Spanish archers at Agincourt? :?'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

lol at the bloke who tried to knick his bike, looks like the mechanic was having words with him when cavendish was riding off."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -

Well it had a tyre glued to it so I imagine that helped it get its shape back, but while it might have seemed okay in the video, I'm sure if you had looked at it afterwards, the rim and spokes would have told a different story.
I very much doubt that it stayed in one piece.
I'm sure you must be right. In the cartoon version in my head the front wheel hit a patch of quicksand, I'm sticking with that!

The rim damage is worse now than it was on the day of the crash. Most people who check it out, buckle the wheel repeatedly when inspecting it. Cav’s signature marks the occasion. Photo: Nick Legan0 -
Fignon and Hinault on podium at 2010 TDF! I don't care about the sunglass clad, blue clad, race radio clad bores who mostly hide on team buses.or look identical most of the day0

This year top of Tourmalet on TdF rest day.

The boy makes good photos:
In terms of Cav and his crashes I would like a copy of the one where in the midst of the sprint crash his front wheel folds in two and half is vertical with the other half flat on the road.
Any one got a hi-res version?0
