I just love that study of Evans. Not a dramatic, action shot but as you say..."says it all really"!

Well it had a tyre glued to it so I imagine that helped it get its shape back, but while it might have seemed okay in the video, I'm sure if you had looked at it afterwards, the rim and spokes would have told a different story.
I very much doubt that it stayed in one piece.0 -

I'm sure you must be right. In the cartoon version in my head the front wheel hit a patch of quicksand, I'm sticking with that!0 -

I can't remember the race. I think it was Tirreno-Adriatico, but don't quote me on that.
Not sure which stage, but pretty sure it was in the Vuelta - he talked about it in the programme on Eurosport the other day - said basically he knew that if he bunny hopped over the line it would get lots of photos and that gets exposure for his sponsors.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the crash photo. The bunny hop is indeed from the Vuelta (stage 13)Twitter: @RichN950 -
Moar pics - and why are BR forms restricted to a certain width? Is it so hard to allow for them to fit the viewers screen so that every picture larger than 5x5 pixels can be viewed without scroll bars?0
