It was in a rather chav ridden place just outside Wolverhampton city centre in the West Midlands. Wish you were here :?, to be fair though because I was TT training I was on the rough side of Wolverhampton (it has lots of lovely flat dual carriage ways) but the other side of Wolverhampton (out towards Ludlow/Shrewsbury/Telford) has some amazing rural riding...with no chavs!!!! .
I went to school on the Finchfield side of Wolverhampton and that side is absolutely fine (commuted to school for about 4 years with no incidents), take it your going to Highfields?, I went to Smestow...there are chavs round there but there definitely all bark and no bite!!. The incident in question happened on the Bushbury / Fallings park side of Wolverhampton (much Much Worse!!).

Hilarious! Full marks I say. There is a high chav population where I live, and I'd be delighted with myself if I responded to a similar situation with such aplomb. Well done.Look out kid, they keep it all hid0

doubt i would have much trouble with the first bit, it's the actual taking the time to pick it up and throw it i might have bother with0 -

which might make him think twice next time.
Did you not consider how the bits highlighted may contradict each other?
yup, i did consider including both in the same sentence might cause some confusement0 -

+1 for the bidon defence - used it several times in similar situations.
Once through the sunroof of an old XR3! when I was convinced the driver
had gobbed at me - turns out it was his windscreen washers
agree with OP wrt 'cyclist's sense' - you can usually spot muppets like these
offenders from fifty paces and prepare for it!

I wouldn't complain, to be fair you cant put a price on a good education, Smestow was a waste of time in imho. It'll be well good commuting from pensnett to the grammar, its pretty much all downhill, should be able to get there in about -10mins!!.... although wont be so fun going back up to pensnett on the way home, time to get some hill training in!!!0 -
Thanks for everyones support by the way , Glad to know that the cycling communtiy supports me in my actions .
Now all we need to do is find a way to get rid of all the chav's....genocide anyone?.0 -
