i meant the old bill aren't allowed to do that anymore as part of the caution believe me if they'd run into traffic within my vision, he'd have been dragged out of his dodgem and given a right hander, you'd likely get away with that in the heat of the moment, but you wouldn't get away tracking him down days later for the same purpose

anyway you didn't read the post properly; they did 'catch' him and it's dealt with now
