I bought a 2nd hand imagic (from this forum I think) then had an injury and didn't set it up.
Now I am recovering and thought it would be good physio.
So I set it up.
I can see the software on the computer but can't get it to acknowledge the i-magic.
Any handy tips?
I googled it and tried some tips to turn something off on my computer but that didn't seem to work either!
All help gratefully recieved as I appear to be a computer and imagic incompetent!!
Many thanks

Have you installed the drivers for the imagic on to your computer? Plug the imagic in to the computer and then check it comes up in device manager.
Also depending on what operating system you have you might have to use an updated driver from the tacx website.
Or try running it in compatability mode. You will get more answers from the TACX forum.0 -
What version of the i-magic and software do you have ? What is your computer operating system ?0

I had the same issue last week
My lap top runs Vista as an opperating system and the I-Magic wouldn't recognise it
The green light on the control panel that sits on the bars wouldnt come on
I tried all things but eventually i found that i needed to download the updates from the Tacx websites, my system was version 1.36 so i needed to update this to the new 2.04 version, you can do this in the Tacx website but you need to do it step by step as there are various versions to upload to get to the newest one,
Once i did this it still didnt work so i had to download a driver off the tacx website, i found it by typing 'download driver' in the search box0 -
Fortius Software Updates can be downloaded and installed offline from a cd/usb flash
http://www.tacx.com/service/software-up ... ftware.dot
(nb both menu updates and Vr updates need to be installed - do sequentially in order from your current version)
The driver update (which was released as part of the newer TTS software is at http://www.tacx.com/service/software-up ... ftware.dot
(There have been newer usb driver updates since then but these have been packaged into the TTS2 version updates as TTS1 is no longer supported).0 -
Thanks everyone for your help. It's all up and running now.
Apologies for the late response. I couldn't remember my log in!?0
