Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive online list that displays typical nutritioanl values for things like,

Bannanas
Apples
Oranges
Green Beans
Asparagus
Brocali
Spinich

When you buy these things out of the super market they not have nutritonal info on them.

For example: How many Kcal in 100g of Golden Delicious Apple?

Do a google search, although spelling the items will help you get the right search results ;)

    Did that first. (google)

Pulled up a few things but wanted a more comprehensive one. As in a one stop site, with all the nutritional vales of fruits, veg, meat, nuts/seeds. And want to know what they are per 100g.

Also available as an app if you have an iphone. Nutritional info for virtually every product in the supermarket is available on the site.

    No worries.

When I was hard-core dieting, I used the daily calorie tracker and logged EVERYTHING I ate to get a realistic idea of how many cals I was actually consuming.

It's scary how fast they really add up - especially when you start factoring in the little extra things and snacks, etc.

I lost a fair amount of weight once I got an accurate fix on cals in and out! (Plus it's nice to see the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbs, etc).
