At the height of his fame, British Steel (it WAS a long time ago!) made him a stainless steel drum kit engraved with hunting scenes. It weighed over two tons and they had to reinforce the stage. Don't you just love rock and roll excess??

Fantastic drummer - intro to Fireball alone is his ticket to fame but he still is second to Bonham imo and I think most of the players mentioned in this thread will say Bonham was the man.M.Rushton0
