Friday - just managed to squeeze in my Metric Century Challenge 100kms for November as it started snowing. Already worried about getting the December ride in, as the snow is now two feet or more deep for as far as I can see.

I can, however, hear the fixie baying in its stable and pawing the ground!

Went out for a couple of hours on Saturday.
  • Friday 19th November after work  and probably only because I received my new front light and over shoes that week. Really wanted to go out over the weekend just gone as both days were bright and sunny and I was busy on both days.
  • Too long ago, just into October I think. Poor form. I did get a nice cover for it to protect it from the snow tho!
  • This morning :D

Last Monday 22nd. Only done turbo since. I would really like to clock another 375kms before Dec 31st which at this rate would mean 15 more turbo sessions
  • Sunday 21st November. I don't like cycling in the dark on the roads around here. Too many potholes and idiots in cars to enjoy a ride. I'm now limited to weekends, if the Mrs hasn't got plans, and after work if I finish early enough to get a ride in before it's dark.
I've only got 66 miles to reach my yearly target (not as much as some of you others on here, but I'm pleased with it for my first year back, which included having our daughter in September.)

  • about 4 weeks ago, done about 6-8 hours a week since on a track bike though, and the odd 45 minute session on a turbo.
  • November 7th, crashed and ended up in hospital for overnight observations, and fractured my wrist.... stuck on the turbo now.

September for a charity bike ride..
Managed 25 minutes on an exercise bike in a hotel last week...it was rubbish but good at the same time. Too much snow here. You'd die.

    Monday.

Would've loved to have cycled in to work this morning, but bottled it and got a lift from a colleague. Glad I did as they'd closed the road I use to cross the Downs.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.
