Age distribution. How old are you

Haven't done a poll for a while and since we have had a lot of changing faces, new members and strong varying social/politicial views in this section. I thought it would be good to see what the age distribution looked like.

So, how old are you?

Me, I'm 28
Food Chain number = 4

There you have it in DDD's world everyone over 51 can be lumped into one category, whereas from 16 -50 its broken down into 5 year age bands.

    What is it DDD?: -
    1. Over 50's don't cycle? ; or
    2. Over 50's aren't IT literate enough to use this website?;
    3. Over 50s are irrelevant to you and hence you are not interested in them

PS I'm not in the over 50 category, so am not speaking from a vested interest

PPS - same questions re U16s who are specifically excluded from this poll by not even having a category. You can't wiggle out of it by claiming they don't work- they can still commute to school as many do

He has got a point - you use quintiles up to 50 - but nowt below 16, mind you, there can't be that many weenies on here. But if we're talking MENTAL age, well now that's a different matter.

Oh - and anyone who regularly moisturises can knock off 5 years, I'm told, so I'm only 36! Yay!

It's just a hill. Get over it.

At the risk of being a pedant, you have to be over 13 to post on this forum (in theory)

    Ok,

1). How many sub 16year olds have you seen post in this section and if they have shouldn't they be looking at porn? The section is commuting, to what? Work where we have the freedom to post non-work stuff during the week. The likelyhood of school children doing this is unlikely.

2). 51+ because well, I don't know, the list looked a little long....

    What was the question?

What do you get if you multiply six by nine? (Or "How old are you?") ;)

Or, "What is the meaning of life, the universe and everything?" if you are old enough to have enjoyed The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I am).

    :D

That's unfortunate, you're going to age 6 months in around 6 weeks time.

It's a Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference. Well, actually, Restaurant at the End of the Universe as far as the books are concerned. You know, the bit where Arthur pulls letters out of a bag to try and extract The Ultimate Question from his brainwave patterns, and gets the phrase "What do you get if you multiply six by nine."

    "Six by nine. Forty two."
"That's it. That's all there is."
"I always thought something was fundamentally wrong with the universe."

Had to put my X in "51 +".

Been cycling a two wheeler since I was six.
Been commuting by bike since started work at seventeen.

If I count it all up, it come to the equivalent of four times round the planet.

Had a serious shouting match with a motorist three times and been bumped off three times.

Fancy that. The age distribution is a bell curve, showing a preponderence [wot?] of webly-active cyclists are in their 20s. Who'd have thought eh?

And, so far, oddly enough justifies DDDs age categorising. Unless all the 50 somethings are having a sulk!

I've moved band since last time. I therefore abstain.

Stay here long enough and you'll release DDDs threads, like fashion, do come back.

Still, you'd miss him if he got a real job.
