turbo training

hi all just a quick question ,have a new tac x sirious and blue tac x training tyre ,used it today for about 10 mins and noticed the roller on the trainer has tyre deposits on it , is this normal or do i need more pressure against the wheel .. any help please. new to trainers.

Turbo trainers will shred normal bike tyres.

I would suggest getting a turbo-specific tyre. E.g : http://www.highonbikes.com/vittoria-zaffiro-pro-home-trainer-road-bike-tyre-700-x-23.html

Erm, the OP said he uses a trainer tyre!

Nor does mine, I only use normal (but old) tyres...
