Love the new wider bars, was not sure at first as it felt a little strange but after a few rides i am now converted.
Bought this the other day, nice Giro Xar. Fits a lot better than my old specialized helmet and also has the added bonus that the collar on my jacket will no loosen the roc loc system as it does with the specialized one:

How do the Schwalbes fit onto the Crests, are they a good fit or are they a bit wide for those rims. I have some Flows but want a set of Hope Hoops with Crest rims to run Continental Race King 2.2's for racing.

Tyres fit fine on the rims, seen people ask on the no tubes forum if they can run 2.4's on crests and they said there are no issues at all but did question why you would fit such a large heavy tyre on such a light rim.

Thanks for the complements, lov it just the way it is at the moment. The only thing i might change is to buy and fit some Formula R1's just purely for the colour combo.0 -
First ride with the Xar and its miles better than the old Specialized lid. Roc Loc 5 is great. Might buy another, one for summer rides and one to have fitted with a helmet light mount.0

While the bike is off the road waiting for the brakes i decided to service the forks.
Whipped them off and stripped them down. Need to call TF as the seal kit i was supplied with varies slightly from what i am seeing in the fork, other than that there was not very much oil in the lowers or in the air spring upper and the foam rings just below the seals were filled with emulsified oil.

Got the forks back together. All seems ok but will see how they are on the first ride:
