Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

 Uber cool, BOTY contender IMHO. What does it weigh?

It needs some white brake hoses to really finish it off :)

Well done Richard. Very nice that.
  • Nice one Rick, looks awsome that mate :D
  • Very lovely, how are you finding the 2x10 set up?

I agree with thel33ter, Some white brake hoses would really make it perfect.

    Looks great..

    Final weight ?
  • lovely bike, I agree with the white hoses too, if you do the gear cables you've got to do the brake hoses too imo
  • 25.5lbs final weight with a rear tube in as i got a slit in my rear rubber that the stans would not seal.

I want to do the brake hoses but not sure which brand to go for.
  • Final cost? Looks a million pounds!

  • Very, very nice. Awesome specs. Great detail, solid build and very tidy.

I love everything that you have on your bike and IMHO the best brake set on the market.

  • Andy the Reverb is amazing, done around 100 miles on it in dirt and grime and its still exactly how it was when i first fitted it.

Goose, thanks for that, you have no idea how many times i check out your bikes and the amazing details on them. The Formulas are the best brakes i have ever used, ok they cost more but the performance is night and day better than the opposition.
  • That's gorgeous mate, great work!

I am a great fan of Santa Cruz Bikes but I rode a normal SC LT in Moab last year and I found it a lot less lively than the Ellsworth Epiphany I tried later that week. How are you finding the Ltc it must be basically a LT but a pound lighter. Im in Canada right now (moved 5 years ago) and I envy everyone who rides in England. The Road and Mountain Biking is among the best in the world.

Happy Trails - (I've blown my fair share of income on bikes, and your completely right, it's not the price that matters, it's the riding pleasure after.)

Santa Cruz Blur XC (Custom Build - XTR)
Santa Cruz Tallboy (Custom Build - XX / X0)
Cove Hummer (Custom Build - XTR)
    Cove G-Spot (Custom Build - XTR / X0)
Enigma Eclipse (Road) (Custom Build - Ultegra 6700)
Storck Fascenario 07 is (Road) (Custom Build - Campagnolo Super Record)

i can't belive that you live in canada and you envy us in england. wanna swap?
  • I love the LTc, its noticeably stiffer than the LTa was.

At first i was worried about carbon frames and rock strikes on the downtube but its been spot on up to now.
  • Very nice. Bit of carbon bling always does a bike good.
  • Nice!!!!!!!!
I wish I could afford a build like that
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?
  • Went out on her towards the end of December then put her back in the garage. Came to ride today and she is looking very sorry for herself. Really should have washed all the salt off after the last ride. Now i have got to spend a good few hours cleaning and de-rusting the chain...
  • Small update. Sold the Reverb seat post and am replacing it with a Thomson Masterpiece. Reverb was great but its proved ever so slightly to long for me even at maximum insertion

Final part of the puzzle has been bought. Had a trip with work to Hong Kong so pm'd xgreygoose who told me a amazing bike shop to go to. This morning i hopped on the MTR and made my way over to the flyingball bike shop.

When i got there i really wanted a Giro Xar but unfortunately they had not had them in stock (probably for the best as it would mean i had no crash replacement policy within the UK) but they did have these:
    IMG_0872.jpg
    IMG_0871.jpg
    IMG_0873.jpg
Made quite a large saving on what they will be in the UK as well. Plus the fact they are not in stock in the UK yet either.
