Having been pondering whether to buy a GTC SL or not. So went into bike shop in Barnstaple and came out with a 2010 GTC SL at a very very reasonable price. Managed a quick ride this afternoon and so far I am very very happy.Cube Agree GTC SL

Only 68 miles so far. But at last the ice and snow have disappeared, and this is Exmouth!!! Should be able to ride the 12 miles to work on Thursday. I do have one slightly annoying problem. On the right chain stay there is a metal protective plate just by the chainrings, which seems to have become slightly unstuck and is causing a slight rub. Any thoughts?
I guess I will probably get the shop to take a look when I drop it in for the first service But other than that very very happy with the machine. I was riding a Treck 1.2 and the difference in ride between aluminium and carbon is astonishing!Cube Agree GTC SL

Looked at a GTC 2011 yesterday at Winchester. Wish they had a blue one as that looks lovely 8) . The web ad picture is a bit unflattering. Still I have permission to get the Dura ace equipped one if I want 8)0

Have a look in Hargroves in Fareham too, personally I found them friendlier in that branch, and there's also Solent Cycles in Lee-on-the-Solent, been in there are few times and chatted about the exact same bikes.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

Bare in mind the 2011 (same as mine) has Dura Ace groupset and shifters, but only FSA brakes. The brakes are nice though and seem to perform as well as my other bike with Ultegra brakes. The 2011 SL is gorgeous but they have used FSA brakes to keep the cost down I think.0 -

That's a cool looking bike, what size is it, thinking about one of these myself but not sure whether to go 56 or 58. I'm 5' 10 and a half with 32 inch inside leg.0 -
Tis a nice bike, very fast and comfortable and as you say i think it looks pretty cool too.
In regard to the size im 5'11 and went for a 58 the only thing ive changed is i got a shorter stem because i felt my arms were just that bit stretched out, but thats because i have short arms lol.
It came with a 100mm stem and i put on a 90mm stem not a big diff but does make it that bit less strech on the reach for me, so far so good
I would say either a 56 or a 58 but if you have a dealer near you well worth paying them a visit to try each size out.
You wont be dissapointed with a Cube great bikes, i done a lot of research before i bought it and im not dissapointed with the choice.
Now roll on summer and the nice weather lolCube Agree GTC Race 2011

^ +1 I can not recommend the Cube enough.
I also researched for many months before deciding on the CUBE Agree SL 2010. over 700 Kms and nothing but praises!
I am just under 5'10" and went with a 56. You should be fine 58 and if needed a short stem.1996 Cannondale M500 CAAD3 (Hardtail MTB)

Well, a few unwanted upgraded last Tuesday, was coming round a roundabout signalling as usual and A woman failed to stop.
I went thru her windscreen at around 30mph and she totalled the cube. I'm fine had a bit of muscular pain following few days but no dramas, brittish cycling are on the case for me and insurance should have it replaced aswell as a new helmet and kit shortly
Frame and forks cracked so total write off

Lucky you, by the sound of it could've been a lot nastier. Shame about the bike as I gave that quite a few admiring looks when it was posted up first time round as was contemplating getting one myself. Hope British Cycling sort it for you and you get another nice gleaming, shiny machine!Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702
