Having seen Bikeradars contribution to the development of the language I thought we might like to put together a Crudcatcher dictionary of word meanings that ought to exist:


Peddle - verb, 'to sell bike components while out riding'

Bridal path - noun, 'place where MTBers hope to bump into members of the opposite sex, with a view to marriage'

Yard Sale - noun, (Eng. 'Garage Sale') 'crash causing widepread distribution of components and accessories - caused by...'

Kodachrome Courage - noun, (obs. replaced by 'Kodak Courage'?) 'irrational belief that you can land a big drop "for the cameras"'

berm: a raised turn

spd/spuds: clipless system which holds your feet to the pedals using a mechanism. special shoes and pedals are required
