Live in Worthing West Sussex recently bought my first road bike. Are there any newbie riders in area who looking for riding partner not wanting to join cycling club and just want to build up riding hours before taking part in races etc.

Hi Wayne. I assume if you're planning to start racing, you're probably hoping to place well in them? You would benefit A LOT if you joined a club, you can get as fit and fast as you like training on your own or with a partner but nothing will prepare you for racing like some fast paced training in a chaingang, you need to know how to ride in a group etc. Plus all the sound advice that comes along with riding with seasoned racers.0

Thanks Will, yes I will be joining a club but for pack training etc, but would like to meet up with local riders who just fancy occasional rides without having to go out on club runs etc.and explore new routes around West Sussex0
