winter ahead
get on your bike

hi
just wondering about the winter ahead. The only chance of getting out are in the evenings & weekends & just debating with myself is it worth going out the winter nights on the bike or go running.
The bike, takes a while to warm up & pretty much always come in cold where as the running you warm up pretty quickly & dont really get cold during or after. Although, i do hope to get out on the bike at the weekends for a spin & maybe keep the running to during the week
Any thoughts?

If you're interested in getting fit to run then run. Otherwise MFU as they say and ride your bikeMore problems but still living....0

Set of lights, and the right clothes, and cycling at night is great IMO. Then again I commute most of the time by bike, so have little choice.0

There are alternatives if you don't fancy riding in the cold / wet / dark etc, which I do sympathise with.
An indoor trainer is a start, and will be a good self enlightenment process - you will experience new levels of mental torture that is usually reserved for the truly unhinged (as you might detect I detest using mine, but have to because it is so effective).
You could ride an indoor track, or what about a gymn that does SPIN classes? The good ones are an excellent way of keeping cycling fit.0
