  • Good to see you were wearing gloves and a helmet, and hope you were not hurt.

I fell off yesterday, you are lucky, at over fifty and no lightweight my a** still hurts.

But not as much as my pride.

I dont think falling off is an issue looking and feeling a prat hurts more.

Did you have a look at the post-crash interview? Looks properly bashed-up, but seems remarkably chirpy. Good drugs I suspect.

There was a great quote from it "Luckily I didn't hurt my shoulder but I'm now at the point where the only thing on my body which isn't hurting is my bad shoulder.”

    That's splendidly ironic. Gaz wrote
"I presume it was the wet leaf that caused me to loose traction"
    you turned that into
"I presume its the wet leaf that caused me to lose traction"
so I'm obliged to point out to you that "it was" when contracted, should have an apostrophe, and you should have written "it's".

To Gaz, I hope you're not badly bruised. While your English is sometimes not perfect I find your videos quite often useful and interesting. Carry on.
The above is a post in a forum on the Intertubes, and should be taken with the appropriate amount of seriousness.

To continue with the pedantic and ironic theme you wrote "it was" when you should have written "it is".
