Ive bit the roadie bug big time, always been a mtb rider but have seen the light in the last few months and got me a road bike (only a Decathlon Sport) but as soon as the mtb is paid off (cyclescheme) its getting sold and a nice new road bike will take its place.
im commuting 5 days a week (20 miles a day) and usually out on weekends, but want to get out more and am sick of riding alone
Is there anyone round this area who fancies someone tagging along?? I did think of a club ride but thought that the speeds they ride may be too quick.
Thanks Ben

Me and NapD are both in the Macclesfield Wheelers - and the club runs are usually at a pace that anyone can handle. Plus we wait for any stragglers.

YOu are welcome to come on a Macc Wheelers club run (before joining). This Saturday's ride is a flat one (alternates between flat and hilly each week). Starts at 1:00 and you'll be home by 6 - with a cafe stop. Average speed is usually 16-17MPH (easy in a group) for the flat rides and distance is 50-65 miles.0

Anything between about 8 and 38 on a club run.
If you don't have full length mud guards and it's wet you will have to ride on the back all day.0 -

If I'm leading then usually back in Parswood between 12 - 1. Hilly rides average 14-15 depending on who's out, flat rides 17-18 'ish.
