exciting stuff, but wonder what the pricing will be like.0

hmm looks quite yummy, I like the clean lines by hiding the cables away. I'd like a frame only option though.0
-
I like that.0

Nice, looks like X-0 groupset on it too (at very least an X-0 drivetrain anyway).
Wonder if they're doing the same thing with the FS model too as that's likely to be my next purchase now.0 -
That does look great, as above, wonder how much they are going to cost?
I want one. We'll see things they'll never see...

Love the hidden cables and the green inside the chain stays (very similar to the yellow on the Air road bike). Iit looks like some serious stress design has gone into the frame sections.
That's a full X0 groupset too so I'll bet its sub 11kg.
At £1200 it blows a lot of £2k+ bikes out of the water.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

Its as far as im aware. Can only remember there ever being one carbon HT on the system, no mention of an 'Elite'.0 -
Looks good, bound to be popular with the 'bike 2 work' crowd too0
-
If that's £1200 that's stonking! I'd be very tempted by one even being able to get Trek/Spesh/Scott at trade!0
-
That looks like a proper high end piece of kit - love the clean lines and agreed, if it is circa £1200 I can see them selling alot of them.... one being to me!0

From the picture it looks like the front triangle is made out of cardboard.
Would be interesting to know what it weighs in at. I'm guessing 24lbs on the nose!0 -

I was joking. Hence the 'seerius'.
Incidentally, who do you mean by 'them'?We'll see things they'll never see...

I know 'them' being a Halfords store. Its on the system so just ask them to have a look for you0

Wonder if it'll have a rider weight limit on it? Or is that a thing of the past with carbon frames?0
-
Hmmm, so the FS goes up to £1,600 keeping the alu frame.
I wonder if that's just a standard price rise, or if they're "kitting it up" a bit more. I hope they don't go bigger than 120mm (as seems to be the trend for most manufacturers this year) as it was pretty spot-on for an XC bike as it was.0 -
£1200 would have been mental. £1600 still puts its a good £500+ below anything else to match it and I'll bet it will set new standards in the mag tests.
A few months ago I heard the specs for the whole range were getting upped. You could put some carbon bars/posts on the FS Pro but would going to XX or Elixir CR really make much of a difference? It certainly wouldn't at my level so I wonder why this one is now £1600.
I said a couple of weeks back that I expected the whole range to become more expensive as the brand establishment phase ends and the return on investments starts to become more important. At the new prices, the value is still there though.
I'm interested in what they will have done to the road bikes too. There's something on 50mm Boardman carbon clinchers in the background of the EB 1.0 photo.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

Stupid question - if it's part of the Elite range (model is EM/1.0 - Elite Mountain I assume?) will it not be part of the separate & high-end Boardman Elite range with the AiR/TT/1 & AiR1 (though I've never seen a picture of the latter, & detail on the Boardman Elite website is scant) rather than the main range?
