It would be no good if I won the lottery. I'd be on the phone to Camelot and I'll be like "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha , ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha."

Then I'd call up my old boss and I'll be like "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha"

Then I'll call up my ex and I'll be like "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha"

Then I'd call up Camelot again and try to be sensible, and probably fail.

If I won that much money I could get a new bicycle.

That was just a scam, wasn't it?

The real winner has come forward and decided to remain anonymous,

I heard on the radio that there were around 1000 claims for the prize.

As much as I'd like to win, I think 113 million would be too much. It's too stupid an amount for your average Joe.

I will, however, be very happy with this weeks £25 mill. :D

If I won I'd buy a new bike shed with four bedrooms, all en-suite, a gym, a garage for a new car, a garage for my bikes, a good sized kitchen-diner, palatial bathroom, and comfy media room.

Not given it much thought, really.

  • I'd lean over the fence and waive a load of money at the Dids and ask them to kindly leave!
Still, I bet whoever has won it, says it won't change their lives!
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.

Well it would certainly change mine. After I'd given some away to mates/paid off some peoples mortgages it would be au revoir to the UK and a big hello to some lovely place in Europe with low taxation, smooth roads and sunshine. There would then be a hedonistic time of hiring eg Fabian Cancellara to be my tour guide thro' Switzerland and Ernesto Colnago might be busy building C59s for the BR Forum readers because I'd have bought you all one :D Apparently I could buy over 32000 of them for that money

If you are going to post pulling somebody up on their spelling, always wise to make sure yours is spot on

Or some smart tw@t will pull you up on your mistake.

It'd change me... I fear I'd become slightly cuntish. Still, it's healthy being able to recognise that and do something about it when the time comes!

I'd probably be a massive bastard beyond my friends if I had that amount of cash - sad though it is.

I think quite a few people would be - certainly more than would admit to it.

Well, thank you. I'll be looking forward to celebrating your win with you when it happens. I can see it now, all the people who post in Cake Stop on a ride with shiny new Colnagos. Can i get my order in now? I'll have DI2 and I think I fancy a blue/white colour scheme. Not too fussy on the exact design, Colnago usually do a good job on that front though.

[edit] and some Zipp 303s...or is that being cheeky?

  • Winning that amount of money definitely wouldn't change me. And if anyone doesn't believe me just send me a couple million and I will demonstrate to you that it wouldn't change me.

I won't be taking orders yet, but there will be someone on here who will say their FREE C59 isn't stiff enough/uncomfortable/wrong colour etc. I might make you all have one groupset - you have a choice of Shimano/Campag/SRAM and it's a fight to the death between these 3 teams whilst I sit in my chair made from money and watch in the manner of a Roman Emperor. See, I haven't even won the money and look how evil I have become

Don't forget to get liability insurance as well as there will also be some idiot who crashes and blames you. Now see, I would never do that, not to a good and generous friend such as yourself who is always so wise in his postings and in all his life choices.

Amen to that. Never a truer word said about mrushton.

anyway, back to those Zipps, that would be okay, wouldn't it?

    I never said evil.

I just recon I'd end up convincing myself I was worth it - worth more than pretty much everyone else, and so behave like a w*nker towards people.

Which of course I'm not. Not at all.

Well after you've all fought to the death, the winning team be they Shimano/Campag/SRAM may get Zipps or even Lightweight since there will be money left over from those who died - but then I may make you battle it out to decide on clincher or tubular

by the time these death matches are all finished, ther'll only be one other forum member left.

Some more for your delight and delectation:

    White Vs Black Bar Tape/Saddle

    Look Pedals Vs Shimano Pedals

That was the idea. But I'll let the survivors choose the accessories but it might come down to having you all wear Rapha C59 survivor club kit

Thinking about it, I'll just stand on the sidelines and watch too. I'll have what ever the death match winner decides s/he wants. Beggars can't be choosers after all. Unless all they want is money for special brew rather than cup of tea and a sandwich.
