Tacx quick release

I use an imagic. My old old winter bike which was a seven speed just gave up the ghost.
I've got a nine speed to use on it now. The Tacx quick release which was fine for the width of the old bike rear drop outs, isn't wide enough for the new frame. I don't want to use the QR that comes with the bike, as it's not a good fit with the trainer and I'll just knacker it. Do Tacx do QRs in different widths, or am I being a wallly?

Hi there.
Yes the rear dropout spacing for your old 7-speed bike was probably 126mm, while road bikes from 8-speed upwards are generally 130mm wide. Hence you want to buy a new fangled modern qr skewer from tacx and it should fit.
