    I'll go for Peter Velits.

I now have FJS and Kléber's picks. I shall say no more.

I'm going with an upcoming Belgian rider named Phillipe Gilbert.

Race has started now, no more picks. Maybe AFX can display who picked what?

I think I can guess who FJS picked. Nervous day ahead!

Kléber - Gilbert. A safe pick, but such is the leader's prerogative.

FJS - Kolobnev. The equivalent of do-or-die attack from three mountains out.

Ah, I thought he might have gone for Nibali.

I thought you might have gone for someone like Nibali or Evans, very likely to survive the Surmano and top 10. But no sprint, so perhaps not for the win. But with a Gilbert pick also likely, my only chance is a too high tempo for him on the Surmano. Unlikely, but we'll see.

Not sure how Nibali's form is, he was good in Emilia but not quite there in the worlds. Still the weather and the Sormano descent will suit him. As for Phil, the Sormano is long but often 5-6%, nothing Alpine. In reality it's pretty open. I quite liked Kolobnev but worried he could find a team mate up the road like J-Rod, Gusev or even Pippo and so he'd be forced to sit up.

Thanks AFX for a great season. Sometimes the picks have caused some stress at times, as seeing your pick fail in a race can ruin the moment, even if the real life event is thrilling.

Still, all great fun and like everyone else, I'm very appreciative of the work involved to make it happen. 8)

Well done Kleber! Congratulations! More than deserved, after already being up there last year.

I assume I'll be dropping quite a few places now, but at least had a try

Many thanks for the hard work afx, looking forward to next year!

Yes, well done to Kléber. Another 50 points added to your total today, but very well played all year. The "Schelde incident" wasn't so vital after all

Congrats to Kleber for the win and to AFX for the entire year. My first year at it and it has made Pro cycling a lot more interesting and fun and I have learned a lot about racing!

Well done Kléber, a richly deserved win. I'm glad the Schelde incident was irrelevant in the end. Much respect to FJS too, he defended his title with flare and panache.

Thanks afx... My first crack at PTP and only managed to do half a season, but really enjoyed it. Great fun, and really appreciate all your hard work!

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Congrats Kleber. Yes, spot on about watching races with one eye on PTP - barely enjoyed one of the best Vueltas in many a year!

Thanks for all the hard work afx. It was great fun although I'm still mad about being deprived of a well-earned victory in the TdF thanks to Contadope. :x

Ah that's why my man was at the front on the Sormano summit, but not in that Fuglsang chasing group

.Bad crash pulled me out of the Race. Shit day! All sacrifices to be good r fucked up in a 1 moment

Never mind, the whole purpose of picking him had gone by then.
