Is it all down to Rossi then? I didn't realise he had any ties with Ferrari.
Still kind of odd for a car company to be sponsoring a bike team.
If he switched to Honda, would they still sponsor him?

Fiat isn't one of Vale's personal sponsors, so I doubt they would follow him everywhere. It just seems that next year with an Italian sports superstar on an Italian bike would be logical to have a major Italian sponsor. His ties with Ferrari come from him testing the F1 car, it was rumoured he'd drive the other year when Massa was injured.

And as for car companies sponsoring other sports, didn't Volvo sponsor Cannondale for a very long time?
