    Some solicitors are doing 'charity wills' during the month of November. Basically, they write the will as per their normal service, but instead of paying them, you make a donation to a charity of their choice. (They suggest a minimum level of donation depending on the complexity of the will).

    I thought it sounded like a good idea.

    I have nothing to add to the legal bits, but sorry to hear your bad news, and I hope that the end will be as quick and comfortable as possible.

    Have just returned from my visit to the UK. Having discussed everything with my Brother ansd Sister my Sister informs me that a Lady from the local Hospice can offer assistance in drawing up a will so we are making an appointment. As and when it happens i,ll keep all informed as to the outcome.My Father will still not entertain a solicitor. He,s hard work sometimes but he,s still my Father.
