Yeehaas idea could work, and I would be more happy to support that than support the peoples laziness.0

If you can't afford to have children - don't.

completely agree but i would also add:
if you have children, beat them twice daily whether they deserve it or not.0 -
my parents are divorced, me and 2 of my 3 brothers live with my mother, who earns (just) enough to lose her child support for them. problem is, she pays a west london mortgage on a 4 bedroom house, which isn't cheap. we don't live lavishly (i pay rent monthly, buy any extravagances myself and rarely/cheaply) and don't hugely depend on this, but will notice it when it's gone.
the bigger one we are worried about is unlimited tuition fees, as one of my brothers is 16, just started college and a bit of a genius (all A/A* GCSE).
for clarity, i'm 23.0 -
When i was at work last saturday, out in the workshop there is a radio, its normally on radio 4 (not my choice) and on there lunch time call in chat shows, child benefit was one of the many topics. There were some brilliant arguments for and against it, however you always get one individual "nut" who calls in spouting there opinion on the subject, one person called in and said "taking away or reducing child benefit would be unfair to those single mother who have lost or are not with the father anymore for many reasons, such as them being kidnapped....."
I found this opinion quite amausing as i feel that "husband kiddnapping obviously happens quite a bit" or enough to make this lady speak it.0 -

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0
