    Fastlad, nope, you're wrong. I quite often wear them on longer rides, so my veg doesn't get numb.

    I did the ride. 16 miles. I think e point of my ride did not really come across. The rain was just one part of it. It was mostly a road ride which I do just to get a bit fitter. Popstar, i could not get to Surrey Hills. Wife was stressing me out and I couldn't get away for that long :(

    Still, really enjoyed the ride. Glad I did it. lidl cycling anorak did a great job as did the seal skinz socks :)

    Thanks for getting me on not my bike :)

    Added bonus - due to the wet weather the mud that I did get on my bike just hosed right off lol.
