They've gone into overdrive.

In case others can't, I'm seeing workstand, panniers (one piece, big top bag, two mid sized panniers), underseat tool kits, and intriguing mini footpump, gloves, socks, computers, gel saddle covers (ugh)

  • Actually, it looks like the top bag on the pannier set can be detached. More interesting.....

I need a workstand and there's a Lidl literally minutes from the front door...shame I need to be the other side of London early doors for an appointment tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be a trip out, trip back then trip out again for me!

EDIT: Or even a nice leisurely start to the day on Monday. Must learn to read the Lidl pages more clearly...!

I have a couple of those but no garage. :(

Have been considering using them on the shed, but they could be surplus to requirements...

I'll be getting a workstand (assuming I get there before they all go) and a computer.

  • I'm very tempted by the workstand, but I don't really have the relevant number of clams. Also tempted to try the footpump thing, and with so many bikes, another computer wouldn't hurt......

    Goodness me that's massive...
...maybe I should buy up such a thing in the hope that one day I'll find a school I can ride into - looks like you can get all the clothes, several lever-arches and a laptop in there not to mention a book or two... Bit heavy mind!

Seriously, I've no idea what you mean.....

Do you not have sufficient crustaceans?

I actually thought you meant "clamps" and it was a typo, but it still made no sense...

:D I'm pretty sure it's been around as a term since the 20's, and is long out of regular use. I suspect I picked it up from one of the Ant Hill Mob watching Perils of Penelope Pittstop as a kid! I also imagine that the Brooklyn Panda in the Fox's "biskwit" ads would use it. Having been forced to reread my post numerous times now, I dearly wish I'd used the word "requisite" instead of "relevant"; much more stylish.

Yeah, "relevant" was a definite fail.....and was what threw me....

If you're just going to lob ster-range terms in to the pot......

Surely you can find a mate to pop in for you? That's what I did with Aldi, though I was in Uxbridge, not Malta! Does help if you're the kind of person to have done your friends lots of favours.

You're right Sam, I can ask my riding buddy.

Just happens he may go for one of the there workstands too...

    Good arrows
  • Glad I saw this, I'll be trotting off to pick up a bike stand (even if I have to take it into university with me...). May even get someone in Norfolk to pick one up just in case (no one, and I mean no one cycles to work in my home town on anything other than a BSO).

May also grab a ride computer, I get lost that often I can never work out the route (and how far I've actually ridden for).

Guessing the local Lidl in SE17/SE1 (whichever it is) will be carnage though.
