    right the BB arrived.

    fitted the Seat clamp

    the spacers on the tabs

thoughts the seat clamp is crap.

I cant get enough force to reduce the post swivelling.

the Hammershmidt was easy to fit and after consideration the tabs did not need facing.

shame that the cable routeing is forward facing.

Oh wow, Hammerschmidt has isis-esque splines, and what appear to be crank arms from the mid nineties?
    Not so enthused anymore :(
Also, HOLY COW that non-drive side BB cup is massive!

To even up the size of the Hammerschmidt driveside assembly. Otherwise the ride would feel somewhat funny.

    sheepsteeth

    the FR with BB 1785g
    AM 1623g

    similar holzfeller cranks
    750 Grams approx
    and BB
    365 Grams

then add a guide and a bash and a mech and you are at about the same or more.

    Nice 'spare parts' build :P

I have one of those crank brothers split-lever clamps... it has disappointingly little clamping force and the finish on the actual collar itself isn't very nice. If they're going to charge so much for it, they might as well anodise the collar as well.

    Ah yes, of course.
Are you finally rid of the Snow yet?
Maybe we should swap - I'll give you the snowboard I've just bought, in exchange for one of your bikes. It's probably for the best.
