HI All
I am in training so to speak for my first 100 mile sportive in October, if you do a hilly 60 mile ride one day do you do a gentle 20 miles the next or rest up.
I am doing around 150 miles per week.
Thanks for reading.

if it were me i'd go for a small recovery ride the next day (max 20 miles, very east pace). if i still felt knackered the day after i'd take the day off.
i'm quite a fan of taking my waking heart rate. if it is 5-10 beats higher than average it can be a sign i need some time off. don't rely on this however, listen to your body and if you are knackered, rest.0 -
