finally collected by Diablo and the I can't get it to charge!!! Frustrated or what, I had to give back the borrowed one so couldn't get out.

Charger lights green instead of red? When charging the piggy back cell battery the charger flashes green then red but doesn't seem to hold charge either..

    any ideas?

Is it producing any light at the moment?
This post contains traces of nuts.
  • after charging for a few hours i can get less than a minutes worth then no light at all although the indicator light on the light unit shows the green (high) amber (Mid) and Red (Low) for 2 secs then flashes red to show a dead battery...

    SO GUTTED!

Wiggle has the new Strada mk2 in stock now, and guess what, 20% discount on ALL lights makes it £196 delivered... :-(

My loss, your gain folks! I can thoroughly recommend this light for commuting on unlit roads: http://wokingham-cyclist.blogspot.com/2 ... -2010.html
  • Fitted a Red-Eye MK2 last night, powered off my Toro...blimey it's bright! Lights up the road behiind me, my Ortlieb pannier, my chain-stays, my legs, and my rear wheel Lidl 3M 'spokey dokeys'!

I just had to get the Maxx-D (upgrade from the 2010 Toro which is going to the wife). It might be slightly overkill for commuting on country roads but.... ooo bright new shiny!
The above is a post in a forum on the Intertubes, and should be taken with the appropriate amount of seriousness.
