I've got my name down for either

    A. An equilibrium

    B. A van nich mistral

    C. A sabbath silk road tiagra

Not sure yet, might get an electric drum kit instead, might end up with nothin. Probably the latter.

    She's getting a new kitchen.

No way is she getting an evening out too.

    So.....

The kitchen budget kicked the bejesus out of the Carbon fibre budget but there was still a bit of treat money left for yours truly.

The new Alu Synapse, a Genesis Equilbrium, a Planet X, a Focus...

What's that love of my life?

We need a new washing machine?

    What's that sweatpea?

    Your car broke down?

    Good Grief

Anyone want to buy a used Cannondale???

  • Yup, my girlfriend has already got any compensation I may or may not get from being knocked of my bike mentally spent while I have been looking up pictures of titanium bikes with a tear in my eye. I have a horrible feeling she will start encouraging me to wear darker clothes and use fading lights next time I get back out there too.

I don't get this, surely you're keeping some money to youself to spend on yourself.

Just doesn't seem fair, even if she isn't working.

Cars, eh? Had this a little while back: car went in for MOT. Cost of MOT about £45 IIRC; cost of work arising from MOT (including new head gasket and something to do with the valve timing) - not much change out of £1,000. Money we were going to spend (ironically) on the kitchen. So I'm building the kitchen now. And I don't have any spare for a Cannondale I'm afraid.

The term, "the fairer sex" is a mis-nomer, DDD.

Car slid on ice this afternoon, knocking down a neighbours wall.

Somewhere on the 'net there must be a similar thread for women cyclists and their other halves, but where?
Are you telling us that you are looking for a way to explain to your OH that you've been bike shopping ? :D
